At Epiphany Health, we understand the apprehension you may feel before your first Massage Therapy experience. We are committed to doing everything we can to help you feel more comfortable.
When you schedule an appointment for a therapy session, you will be asked a series of questions relating to any pain or discomfort you may be having. The answers to these questions will allow your therapist to be prepared to help relieve these symptoms.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a small amount of paperwork. You will then spend a few moments speaking with the therapist, who will ask again about your condition, and who will answer any questions you may have. Your therapist will then leave the room and close the door. You will disrobe to your comfort level, get onto the therapy table, and cover yourself with the draping material. A few moments later, your therapist will ask to re-enter the room, and the session will begin.
Your therapist is trained in draping techniques that will at all times guard your privacy. She will ask you several times during the massage about your comfort, the temperature of the warming pad on the table, and the effectiveness of the therapy. If at any time you have a question or comment, please don't hesitate to speak with her.
When the session concludes, the therapist will once again leave the room and close the door. You will get back into your clothing and leave the treatment area. Your therapist will meet you at the check-out area, where you will have the opportunity to schedule an additional session, if desired, and the transaction will complete with your choice of payment. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you on your journey to health. If there are any additional questions you would like to have answered before your session, please email or call us at 556-6224.
